Three Rivers Media Corp. is very pleased to announce the achievements of stations WYVE and WXBX at the 84th Annual Virginia Association of Broadcasters Awards held earlier this fall.
Kool 95.3FM WXBX received the top award for Small Market stations in the category of Best Public Service/Community Event for the Caring for Carrington Christmas Drive held in late fall 2020. Three Rivers Media stations put out the call for gift donations for the residents of Carrington Place at Wytheville to immense success.
Your Hometown Sound WYVE (1280AM and 99.9FM) received the top award for Small Market stations for Creative Excellence in Radio for the Wythe County Public Schools Drive Thru 2020 Graduations. This included graduation ceremonies at Ft. Chiswell High School, George Wythe High School, and Rural Retreat High School.
